Location Announcement of Nebraska Open Meetings Act:  A copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is located on the wall at the rear of the Hearing Room.  Additionally, a copy of all written material to be discussed at today's open meeting is available from the County Clerk's staff at the front of the Hearing Room.  These materials can also be viewed on the County's web site at lancaster.ne.gov. 

 

Those wishing to speak on items specific to today's agenda are asked to do so when the item is called by the County Clerk.  Each speaker is limited to five (5) minutes.  Time limits may be extended or reasonably decreased at the discretion of the County Board Chair.

 

If you are here to participate on an item and need special consideration because of a schedule conflict or some other reason, please let the Clerk know prior to the meeting so we may accommodate your needs.

 

1)      PUBLIC HEARING:

 

A.        County Special Permit No. 19035 (to allow for the construction of a commercial feedlot on property legally described as Lot 2, Benes Country Acres 1st Addition, and the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 4, Township 12 North, Range 6, East of the 6th P.M., Lancaster County, Nebraska, generally located 1/4 mile east of NW 27th Street and West Ashland Road). (See correlating item 2A)

 

2)      NEW BUSINESS:

 

A.        Resolution in the matter of County Special Permit No. 19035, (adopted by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Planning Commission on October 2, 2019 as Resolution PC-01675) for the construction of a commercial feedlot on property legally described as Lot 2, Benes Country Acres 1st Addition, and the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 4, Township 12 North, Range 6, East of the 6th P.M., Lancaster County, Nebraska, generally located 1/4 mile east of NW 27th Street and West Ashland Road.

 

Note:  All testimony, evidence and correspondence received by the Planning Department and Planning Commission related to the Planning Commission's hearings on SP19035 will be included in the record before the County Board on this appeal.
