A resolution rescinding resolution 98-149 which directed the county to conduct a study regarding the vacation of a portion of Railroad Street, Alexander Street and the alley running east and west between the two streets. (98-289) Diane Staab, Deputy County Attorney, explained they were asking that Resolution 98-149 be rescinded because it had gone through the process approximately one year ago. At that time there were problems because frontage was being taken from one of the landowners. She said they had visited with the individual and there have been no changes since that time. Eagan stated there is an additional problem and explained that if the road were vacated there would be a landlocked parcel to the rear. MOTION: Svoboda moved and Hudkins seconded approval. On call Steinman, Svoboda and Hudkins voted aye. Motion carried. N. (A copy of these minutes is on file in the Office of the Lancaster County Clerk.) MOTION: Svoboda moved and Hudkins seconded approval of the minutes of February 10, 1998. On call Hudkins, Steinman and Svoboda voted aye. Motion carried. 2) MOTOR VEHICLE TAX EXEMPTION: Family Service MOTION: Hudkins moved and Svoboda seconded approval of a motor vehicle tax exemption for Family Service. On call Hudkins, Steinman and Svoboda voted aye. Motion carried. 3) SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING: Setting of a public hearing for Tuesday, March 10, 1998 at 2:30 p.m. for notice of valuation change for omitted or undervalued property for Charles E. Ems. (98-296) MOTION: Hudkins moved and Svoboda seconded to set a public hearing for Tuesday, March 10, 1998 at 2:30 p.m. for notice of valuation change for omitted or undervalued property for Charles E.
