Svoboda said he felt uncomfortable approving an increase in salary for the Commissioners. He stated the Commissioners he has worked with have put in a lot time and hard work, however, he feels the salary should be frozen at the current level and only increased by the vote of the people. He stated to do the job right it requires more than part-time and that he has no problem supporting the guidelines. Tussing stated she also agreed with Campbell and that she would feel more comfortable setting the salary for the Commissioners at a base with the County Clerk, Clerk of the District Court and Register of Deeds.
