City Board of Zoning Appeals
The City Board of Zoning Appeals is a body of five citizens appointed for staggered five-year terms by the Mayor with concurrence of the City Council. The Board of Zoning Appeals is charged by state and local law with hearing cases relating to variances to the City's Zoning Ordinance, errors in decisions or determinations of administrative officials, or certain exceptions relating to nonconforming uses, street layout, and parking requirements. Decisions of the City Board of Zoning Appeals are appealable to the District Court.

Agendas & Minutes
The City Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the last Friday of the month at 1:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, except when no applications have been received.
