Parks

Our goal is to have a park area within one-half mile walking distance of each residence in the community. We enjoy 131 parks in Lincoln with more than half of them identified as neighborhood and mini-parks. Parks and Recreation also cares for almost 4,000 acres of natural greenspace areas, 4 fenced dog parks and 2 skate parks.  Click here for a list of park locations.

Reserve a Park Facility

What better place to have your next corporate or family event than one of Lincoln’s parks?  Many of our park facilities are available to rent.

How to Reserve a Facility :
You must send completed form and payment to:

Your reservation is not finalized until you have a confirmation receipt from Parks and Recreation staff. Call 402-441-7847 or e-mail reservations@lincoln.ne.gov for more information.
