The Rock Island Trail between Capitol Parkway and "A" Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 25 through September 8 for drainage improvement work under the Lincoln Children's Zoo plaza bridge. The trail will be open during evenings and weekends. The recommended detour is to use the Billy Wolff Trail along Capitol Parkway, and then rejoin the Rock Island Trail at "A" Street.
