COVID-19 Risk Dial Upgraded to Yellow

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) today said the COVID-19 Risk Dial at has moved from the orange/high risk category to the yellow level, indicating a moderate risk of the spread of COVID-19. On the color-coded Dial, red represents the highest risk of COVID-19 spread, and green represents the lowest. The Dial is updated every Friday.

For each color of risk, LLCHD provides specific recommendations for physical distancing, face covering, hand washing, illness monitoring, and disinfection. Specific guidance is included for people at risk for complications due to COVID-19 and for businesses.

At the yellow level, the recommendations include the following:

The recommendations have been informed by guidance from national resources, including those produced by Johns Hopkins University, the CDC, and the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
