Aging Partners invites senior citizens and the public to a presentation on memory improvement from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, November 3, at the Jack J. Huck Continuing Education Center, Southeast Community College, 301 S. 68th St. Place. The cost for the class is $15, and registration and payment are required by October 26.
"Cutting Through the Fog: Mindful Approaches to Improving Memory" develops new skills that will optimize the ability to remember, learn, plan and adapt. Participants will also learn memory strategies that can be used every day, as well as how to tell the difference between myths and the truth about cures for memory issues.
Featured speakers will be Judy Harvey, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Nebraska, and Abbe D. Bateman, M.S., Speech Language Pathologist at Tabitha Home Health Care.
