On September 8, 2017, the Lincoln Police Department completed its annual 'Back to School' traffic enforcement project. The project was conducted August 21st through September 8th with specific emphasis on traffic enforcement in and around the various schools throughout Lincoln. The project, funded through a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, resulted in the following violations:
