Senior citizens and the public are invited to a free Aging Partners Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 19 at the Carol Yoakum Family Resource Center, 4821 N.W. 48th St. The event will showcase programs, services and other opportunities available at Aging Partners. No event registration is required.
"Our resource fairs this spring and summer have been very well received," said Sandy Lutz, Aging Partners Administrator. "For many, it's their first experience with Aging Partners and their initial exposure to our services. The resource fairs also highlight senior center activities and the important social role they play in the lives of older adults."
Services and programs to be featured at the resource fair include senior health and fitness testing, long-term care, nutrition, personal and family services, the Aging and Disability Resource Center, transportation, and financial and employment resources.
