Child Care Center Regulations

Child Care programs serving 13 or more children under the age of 13 years operating within three miles of the Lincoln city limits are required to hold a written license from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and a certificate of compliance issued by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.

The Lincoln Municipal Code 8.14 affecting child care centers was revised in December 2016.
