This morning, the Sheriff's Office released photos of a white older Dodge pickup suspected of dumping tires near S. 134th and 'A' streets on 4/24/2023. It turns out the driver of the pickup, along with his family is part of Lancaster County Engineering Dept.'s Adopt a Highway program. The man was instructed to deposit the tires at the driveway to the County Shops facility at S. 134th and 'A' so the county would haul them off. He saw the man who reported this to the Sheriff's Office and was waiving at him hoping to explain what he was doing, knowing it just looked like he was dumping tires. He called the County Engineering Dept. this morning just in case someone reported him.
Several call were received to assist in this case, we appreciate the public's help in solving this case.
